"The season's over, and what a game to finish. A thrilling overtime game, where we just missed out on the win. It was a game that tipified the second half of our season. We were in control and relaxed a little, which we were punished for. I'm gutted we couldn't get the win for our Club Captain, Bruce Lauder, in his final game but he played every minute of the game in front of a packed house and battled hard throughout - a fitting end for him. He will be sorely missed next season and has been a real ambassador for the club both on and off the court - we all wish him well. I would also like to congratulate Huddersfield Heat, Derby Trailblazers, Sheffield Saints and Sefton Stars on qualifying for the play-offs in what must have been the closest battle for years. We'll be back next year and fighting again, and I want to thank everyone for their support this season."
