Big Game for Hoods II

With the Nottingham Hoods first team having a well deserved weekend off, there is still a reason to get down to the Nottingham Wildcats Arena as the Hoods II have an important game against Sheffield Sharks. Tip-off is at 4.00pm

Hoods II are currently sitting second in the league on a 3&1 record following a very successful campaign so far, with just one slip away to league leaders Gateshead Phoenix. Their opposition this weekend has also only lost one game to the leaders by a similar margin, so we will need our Merry Men to come out an support the developmental Hoods II team, which includes a mix of seasoned veterans and ex-Junior players in their debut senior season.

Club Captain Bruce Lauder commented, “Coach Stanley has installed the Hoods ethos into the team and runs a very tight ship. I have been extremely impressed by the way he has developed this team and the players attitudes and efforts both on and off the court. This team is a real testament to the Hoods family. If you haven’t watched them play yet, I urge you to get down on Saturday, because they have some highliy skilled and talented youngsters that always bring the highlight plays and always play an entertaining brand of basketball – as you would expect from a Hoods team!”

Tip-off is at 4.00pm at the Nottingham Wildcats Arena, Greenwood Road, Bakersfield. NG3 7EB
