The McDonald’s Nottingham Hoods are looking to get back to winning ways in front of their home crowd of Merry Men, when they take on Hemel Storm at the Nottingham Wildcats Arena on Saturday, with a 6.30pm tip.
The Hoods have had a tough group of games, playing 4 of the Top 5 on the bounce and are on a 4 game losing streak, whereas Storm have had an impressive 2019, picking up some good wins to move them up the table, coming of a double header weekend where they defeated both Leopards away and Crusaders at home to sit just behind the Hoods in the league and fighting for that final play-off spot.
With just 4 games remaining, Hoods sit just out of the play-off spots in 9th and will be looking to put together a run of wins and secure that birth in their first season of Division 1 basketball, it all starts at home on Saturday! Coach Westley commented, “We need to find that elusive 20%. In the last few games we have been very good for 80% of the time and have a lot of positives to bring into this game.”
Tickets for the game are available on the door and priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for Juniors, but u12s can enter for free by following Hoods on Instagram by clicking here.
