Hoods sign Kyle Jimenez

The Nottingham Hoods are delighted to announce the addition of 2021 Team of the Year player Kyle Jimenez from Loughborough Riders.

The 6’1 guard from Scotland had a stellar season last year making the NBL team of the year as well as setting a new NBL record of 10.3 assists per game.

Having represented Scotland at u16 and u18 level, Kyle joined Charnwood Riders in the EABL in 2016, before stepping up to Loughborough Riders in 2018 where he spent 3 seasons. Kyle took his opportunity in the 2020/21 season of a starting 5 birth to put up some staggering numbers, averaging 11.4ppg, 10.3apg and 7.3rpg.

Speaking of his switch across the East Midlands Kyle said, “It’s a great honour to be brought into such a large and established club. I just can’t wait to get there and meet everyone, get to work and hopefully be a part of a group that can create something special.”

Head Coach Ben Stanley added, “I was a fan of Kyle’s game all last season. He’s an incredible passer with a real knowledge of the game. His work ethic will be infectious and set a great example on and off the court, we’re excited to have him .”
