Hoods still searching for 1st win as road-trip continues

The Nottingham McDonald’s Hoods are still looking for their 1st win of the season, and face another tough game this weekend as they take on Reading Rockets.

Rockets have had a solid start to the season, including a 23pt hammering of Loughborough Riders last weekend to sit them 4th in the league. Hoods have yet to beat Rockets, losing both game last season, but both games were close, which has been the story of Hoods season so far. A win this weekend would give Hoods a huge confidence boost.

Coach Westley is not taking his opponents lightly, “Rockets are a fantastic organisation and I have a huge amount of respect for Coach Alan Keane. We have to go into the game confident in our ability to compete with the best in the league. We go into the game with a very positive mind-frame as we search for a first win, following a really good week of practice”
