All 4 teams are playing at home this weekend with the Senior Men facing a tricky double header to keep their home run record intact.
The action starts at 2pm as the McDonald’s Nottingham Junior Hoods u14 (10&7) take on Ilkeston Outlaws (0&17) at 2pm. Coaches Franchi and Hindocha will be hoping for a straightforward win to propel them back into the Top 4. Following them Hoods II (5&5) take to the court in their penultimate game of the season against the team sitting just behind them in the league, Sunderland City Predators (4&6). A win for Coach Stanley will gurantee him a minimum 4th position finish in the teams first season, which would be a great result. Last time the two teams met, it was the Predators who came out 80-78 winners so Hoods II will be looking to avenge that defeat.
The highlight of the evening is at 6.30pm with the Senior Men team (11&6) take on top of table Solent Kestrels (15&3). Hoods have lost their last two games which has seen those teams away round them catch up to the comfortable top 4 finish, but the Hoods are riding an incredible home run, having not lost in league play since March 2014 and will be looking for the Merry Men to cheer them on to what would be an incredible result.
On Sunday at 12pm, Junior Hoods u16 (7&8) have a tough game against Northamptonshire Titans (10&6) who are chasing a top two league finish. Junior Hoods u18 (11&6) then take on the same Titans opposition (7&12) at 2pm looking to solidify a Top 3 finish.
The Senior Men will have a short turnaround as they are back in action at 4pm against bottom side Eastside Eagles (1&15)
All games are at the Nottingham Wildcats Arena and supporters are urged to come down and support all the teams in a historic weekend for the McDonald’s Nottingham Hoods.
