Hoods Set the Standard Hosting Historic BCB Trophy Final

The Nottingham Hoods were proud to host the first-ever BCB Trophy Final at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, delivering a landmark event that showcased the very best of basketball both on and off the court.

The final saw the Yorkshire Dragons take on the COB Rockets in a highly anticipated matchup. After a competitive contest, it was the COB Rockets who came out on top, securing the trophy and capping off a strong performance on the day. Congratulations to the Rockets on a well-deserved victory.

While the action on the court was a highlight, the event itself proved to be a major success. From the organisation and atmosphere to the fan experience, the day received overwhelmingly positive feedback from supporters, staff, and sponsors alike. The energy in the building, combined with a full day of basketball and entertainment, created a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

Hosting the final marked a significant moment for the Nottingham Hoods, not only as a club but as an organisation committed to growing the game. The success of the event has helped set a new benchmark for what BCB finals can look like in the future—raising standards across presentation, fan engagement, and overall experience.

The Hoods would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. From volunteers and partners to the fans who brought the noise, it was a true collective effort.

Attention now turns back to the court, where the Hoods will face the COB Rockets once again in the final game of the regular season. After seeing their quality first-hand, it promises to be an exciting matchup to close out the campaign.
