The Nottingham Hoods are pleased to announce the signing of Abiodun Adedo, as the team looks to add further quality and versatility as they enter the business end of the season.
Adedo, 24, is a 6’6” British forward who can operate across multiple positions, including small forward, power forward, and centre. His size, athleticism, and positional flexibility provide the Hoods with an important boost as the campaign continues.
He began his basketball journey in the UK with Barking Abbey before moving to the United States to play at The University of Montana Western. Adedo most recently competed professionally for Serhedci in Azerbaijan, gaining valuable experience at senior level overseas.
This move marks Adedo’s return to British basketball, bringing international experience back to the domestic game at a crucial point in the season.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve played competitively in the UK and I’m excited to be back, especially with the great group of guys that Nottingham has put together,” said Adedo.
The Nottingham Hoods welcome Abi to the club and look forward to the impact he will make as the team pushes forward through the remainder of the season.
Watch Abi in action this Friday (6th February) 7.30pm tip off at Harvey Hadden Sports Village as the Hoods face local rivals the Loughborough Riders!
